By now you should know
that even if you don't care
what people think of you,
that doesn't stop their
thoughts running in circles
and screaming out messages
that they're too scared to say
because of social acceptance
from the ones that they
think about initially.
Even the ones who you
think are your friends
will one day give up hope
and tell you that
when you're having a break down
about something that may
seem like a mountain,
that they have had enough,
that they don't care enough
to follow you into the dark.
