This is Overrated;

Is a carton of cigarettes
An effective apology?
A chemical imbalance seems
To be what’s to blame.
Perhaps too much
Hydrogen peroxide rooted.
It’s a clerical error, I’d love
To swear.
I’m pretty sure this could cause
Nightly breathless convulsions.

Living bacteria cultures beg amnesty
For their deficiency of effective synonyms
“Penitence” could work,
maybe.
Thank some deity a hole was
Burned through your custom-ordered
Down-comforter.

My limbs and extracurricular activities
Are sopping in a mishap of corn syrup.
Let’s relocate to a new mindset.
A chemical imbalance of failing livers
And BACs of toxic amounts for the next
Fifteen years
Should erase this.

Well Done, your message comes across very clear. It kinda caught me off guard, with every line capitalized. Other than that job well done sweetie!! Keep up the great work! Out of curiousity what inspired this write? Are you trying to quit or know someone who is? Just asking because I know how hard it can be.
BTW! I noticed your new to the site. Let me, hopefully, be the first to welcome you. Take care.

Yes it does take away from the workings of the body the nicotine for if one would think to smkoe it is to get one percent but if one was todrink it would be instant death so we kill our self slowely but we are still killing ourself one stick at a time like nails in the coffin
