I look upon this picture,
of a love so deep and pure .
Unknowing of each others ventures,
or when our time would be chosen for sure .
Yet as I look into these eyes of joy,
with such an embrace I feel.
Life be you a man or just a young boy,
heaven on earth this day was real .
Now as we look upon our loved ones about this day ,
we will embrace just as we did as a child they say .
As heavens gates open and he takes our hands,
those days will all come rushing back again .
Loved ones will be waiting,
they shall embrace you with love.
And the look upon your face," you see" for us will be just enough.
For life and all its pains this day, are washed away,
and you shall be back in that young mans embrace.
You will see all your loved ones back here on earth in time,
you will be their guardian angels, about them you shall fly .
Fear not the passing as he takes your hands,
it will be a rebirth as your faith shall help you stand .

We shall never know until our faithful day why we are taken when we are. But the instant it happens we see all and are truly free as we have never been before . Embrace him and know we shall all meet you there and life will be whole and blessed beyond our wildest dreams .

So Beautiful
This is just beautiful. Oh to be together again someday. And as you say there is nothing to fear for he tades our hands and in our faith we shall stand. Yes my son will be there to meet him in Heaven above. I love the imagery and the poem. The flow was lovely as well as the poem. Thank you for your loving compassion. A good opening verse, pictures and paintings can invoke many emotional reactions, I pick up on a sense of time here, looking back in the mind, I have not looked at the photograph (I know it is such as I quickly looked at the contest prompt then) I will let your words communicate the imagery before I take a look at the image presented. Hopefully I will be right in my perception, if not then that is fine too for we all see something different when reading a poem. As I read further along the poem I get a sense of the deathbed, someone waving farewell to family and friends after a long life lived.
