A Walk to Remember

My love, I walk along this path again--
Was it here, was it there?
You held my hands to keep them warm.
Looked into my eyes, just looking,
Not really searching but we stayed in that moment together
And resumed walking, slowly, silently.

Was it here?
I do not recall, though I remember you,
Just you, and that one moment you took me away
From everything, just you.

I remember, my love, my friend,
Just us, nothing else, walking, strolling,
Along this path we've been given,
Not knowing where we were going but excited in the journey.

Was it here? Was it there?
Your kiss thrilled me, still does,
And just the feel washes over me again.
The walk I do not recall,
But you... I remember, I remember.

    aww.. this is so romantic

i must be honest, but this poem almost didn't fit the picture until the 3rd stanza; that's where your poem progressed beautifully.

loved the part where you said:
"Your kiss thrilled me, still does,
And just the feel washes over me again."

    Got me tingling all over

    thank you for this entry
