I slowly slide away in silence
a reflection that crosses my mind
a man who has lost all innocence
where morality is hardly defined
Secret is all my muse of love
that slides in the distance of time
I shall stroke the gentle white dove
as my words pour out in rhyme
My silence can be a virtue
as I play the part of a loving man
I can stand tall like a statue
while doing all the best that I can
So now this story must close
it is not meant to occupy your mind
Let it be known the girl that I chose
that I was so fortunate to find
