Crumble

I can’t see my reflections in the water
I can’t cry to show you all my pain
I can show you the love of the heavens
as you hold me crying in the rain

I can drift away in my thoughts
as they wrap around your simple heart
Knowing of all imperfections
as I display my work of art

You dance upon my mind
like a virgin angel so fine
You occupy my time
a muse so hard to define

As you softly play upon my brow
as perfect as a lady who knows how
And the man that sleeps inside me
wanders in the emotions of here and now

Trickles of love shall find their way
in a cold dark love lost day
But I shall rise above it all
as my mind slowly crumbles in fall

Wow....that was so beautiful. So simple and yet so beautiful. And you were able to rhyme it so well. I loved it. You deserve first.
