I am of stone.
Hard, cold, weathered by the world.
I stand; Tall, sightless . . .
Fading.
But you don't see me.
No, I am the invisible.
The intolerable.
The inevitable.
You don't realize
what I am.
You don't comprehend what my presence signifies.
Utterly so, and while I stand erect, unmoving, I have endured more than you ever will.
Experience means nothing in the dark of midnight.
When all life dwindles . . .
Luckily for you, I'm still here.
I am . . .
That hope, what you never could do . . .The love that you share . . .
I am . . .
The miracle.
I bore the mess,
I allied the masses . . .
So don't ignore me.
Replace my moldy foundations.
Tear me down do you not.
For in the end you all turn to me.
For I pray forever more.
As midnight approaches,
A new sun will rise.
So don't ignore me,
Realize me.
