Real as the air that no one can see
Solid as the sturdiest Redwood tree
I create a shadow in the light of the day
and walk around obstacles that get in my way
I cast a reflection just as you do
and cry salty tears just like you too
My existence is as certain as the floor where you stand
even though distance keeps me from holding your hand
Just open your eyes and open your heart
and know that I'm with you even when we're apart
For I am as real as anything could even be
A real red-blooded woman this person is me
