One of my friends is a nurse who goes on tours with speaking engagements... She says food addiction is an underlying search for a spiritual component. She used to be overweight. She she found God she had no more desire to overeat.

Well said, good poet. True, I think. Look at people's faces as they eat something good and it might be a spiritual connection.

a good piece of poetry penned, i think a lot of times boredom in peoples lives makes them overeat, people make something for something to do and then eat it
