Mourning Elation

Ceaseless pacing,
every waking moment.
While my mind gradually conjures,
forged fantasies,
that throttle my emotions,
making them cry out in angst.

Thus allowing me to say
“Where have you vanished?
Why haven’t you called?
You’ve taken my heart,
and I bleed for the absence of your voice,
your enthralling smile.
Where I feel secure and required,
like the midnight flower,
draping over my soul.”

This is a poem showing much anxiety. The lines my mind gradually conjures up forged fantasy and I bledd for the asesnse of your voice, both express your thoughts extremely well. This piece is strong and had much feeling.
