Claw against your chest to feel
some kind of contact between hand and heart;
For nothing warmer than a sly sunbeam has ever captured
the innards of your systems.
Both dry and damaged, your synapses celebrate this fixture
knowing all to well this rush is twisted -
For no resonation between touch and heartbeat has ever managed
to truely connect the words you speak to your lips.
But what can you say? You batter
your eyelids; both in movement and with your hands
To make your eyes see deeper than the scars they hold
You want to feel her heartbeat more than her lungs themselves do
But what can you do? Claw on.
Define this feeling
That is peeling
Skin away from skin
And now the skeleton is bare
To taste this love-drowned spice called air
I will confess tranquility
This abstinence of heart has left me
Tongue-untwined so long
But what is wrong in wiring rhymes
With single rhythm-spines; unwind
Your double-helix stands; No grander
Plan met lips that this
Vendetta-vice to claw through
Every ice-joint of the igloo
Never cross the gunshot glow right through
Hold hands; hold hands with you
Define yourself; forget the grieving
Your an island sunset screaming
To an ocean-whirl of pearls
To shine under your shine; Define
Your stars will tap in time; this time -
Remember you are yours,
not mine.
Please tell me what you think
