With the coolest shadow outlining the midnight sky,
I see myself reflected in the sadness of the moon.
Floating high with those dangeling fish hooked stars.
Stars that capture and feed off of the dreams,
the wishes casted upom them.

So beautiful, but it seems like there is a dark backing to this curtain, there is so much beauty in the sky but it can really exaggerate you're pain when you're feeling lonely and you look up. The whole thing about seeing yourself in the sadness of the moon - I've often thought that, everyone always seems to see the moon's smile or whatever it as the 'brightness' in a dark sky but I totally see what you are getting at so well put, love how short and simple this piece seems but when you really read it through a few times you can pull so much more out of it, loving your work
I hope you aren't realyl as lonely as this poem suggests though, take care xSleeperx keep on dreaming
ps you may want to look at the 2nd to last word.

i really enjoy this although is has a sermon of sad finding.
i like the idea of these ambiguous feelings being devoured by nature's utmost remarkable displays of inner peace and connection.
stars feeding. waiting. for the children to love nothing less than themselves. -
me too. This is well written but so sad.
