Mr. Death
You can see him coming from a mile away.
You can try to outrun him,
but he’ll catch you one day.
Mr. Death
You can hear his carriage outside.
You don’t dare look out the window.
You can run but you can’t hide.
Mr. Death
His smell will send you to your knees.
You can beg all you want,
but he can’t hear your pleas.
Mr. Death
His kiss taste so acrid.
Your breath gets caught in your lungs.
You’re now on your deathbed.
Mr. Death
His cold hands are at your face;
his icy touch sending chills down your spine.
You’re dying at his pace.
Mr. Death
He will stop by one day.
For he is the one end,
all good men must pay.
