Death's Rainbow

RED
is the sky with the setting sun.
It is the blood streaming down;
the dirty deeds I’ve done.

ORANGE
is the sign of a growing flame.
It is the fire inside of me,
for I’m the one to blame.

YELLOW
is the lightening streaking the sky.
It is the golden glimmer,
that has gone from my eyes.

GREEN
is the ongoing life around me.
It will still be around,
even after my soul is free.

BLUE
is the sky of hope,
which will fade to black,
when you see me hung from the rope.

VIOLET
is the wild jasmines bursting to life,
which will soon be lost,
to this beautiful, shimmering knife.
