My Blue and Yellow Train

The engineer is a waving in the breeze.

Train a running as it  please.

Many mile it makes a day.

Everyone happy to be on their way.

The blue and yellow train going down the track

My heart is happy as I see her go.

Down the track  as only her streaks show.

My mind wonders how fast does she go.

One day that  will be me.

On the blue and yellow train going down the track.

To the towns and cities I don't know.

To where others travel as they go.

The whisle the  train makes as it goes.

Calling me so I may see her go.

My blue and yellow train going down the track.

a very cute poem! made me smile
the last line reptition gives is a singsong quality...like a group of kids would be singing this a very sweet take on the prompt

one nagging thing... you misspelled travel might want to fix that.
and I love the hopeful, airy quality that comes from this.... truly representative of the country!
thank you for entering, & g'luck!

Very nice... and the repetitive line added a lyrical quality to this wonderful piece... Well done.
