You are a perfect mirror
of rainbow found inside
the world of inner beauty
that ego’s masks may hide
I gaze at splendid colors
reflected through your robe
You are a feathered artwork
an angel on this globe
The wisdom of the chakras
your presence can reveal
‘Neath multi-colored wing-beats
life’s lessons you conceal
Bright red is our connection
to sacred Mother Earth
on alchemistic playground
allowing Spirit’s birth
In blue, your head is bathing
with wisdom’s aura cloaked
When roots in Spirit anchor
our thoughts with peace are soaked
Our ego is a burden
as yellow back-plumes show
Green wings bring liberation
heart’s flame through love shall glow
Revealed are my true colors
transcending time and space
I thank you for your presence
dear messenger of Grace

Written from the well of wisdom that springs beneath your human form. Spirit spoke and your soul listened. Beautifully written.

where shall I start,
breathtakingly beautiful,
you pulled together my passions,
there is quite a peace in nature
birds and Angels,
there is indeed a connection,
everyday I am amazed over the simplicity and the genius of our Father,
how he shines through your words so vividly,
from your soulful writes I can see that you are indeed blessed,
it is such a pleasure to see such a perfect soul,
outstanding, unique and my pleasure,
God bles you always, I am sure is is

What a wonderful job you did with your poem about the painted bunting. You take the persona of this bird and put it to poetry. I like this so very much. Thank you.
Another name for this bird is the nonpareil....meaning like no other. I only saw this bird one time when I was living in Texas. I took a trip to Padre Island and I was so lucky to see this bird sitting atop of the treetops singing just for me.
Male Painted Buntings are highly territorial and aggressive toward each other. Fights between males, which include pecking, beating with wings, and grappling, sometimes result in death.
Thank you again.

The perfection of the mirrored form
enhances your descriptive words,
but most of all, it reflects
the rainbow colors
in your soul.
A beautiful accomplishment!

Yay! A beautiful poem for a beautiful bird.
I like the interpretation of spiritual meanings for each colour, as nature can remind us of eternal values.
Best of luck!
