In wishing just make sure your anchor holds
secure your clinging shadows tres' deep.
For this will be worth its weight in gold
If ever you should attempt to deep sleep.
In dreaming of some other way or outcome
command the sun, the moon, the stars, too.
This is where deep-down desire comes from.
Yet, always know that wishes will haunt you.
They'll eat at your externals like sunshine
burns its way into the coldest ice sickles.
Boring a hole that a river bed will decline.
Teasing are those desires; also they tickle.
Testing your reserves and stored up hopes
easing their way upon your solemn solid oaths.
Wishing doesn't loose you from water and soap.
It just makes you empty and stunts your growth..

a good poem, ah wishing, yes, we can sometimes get tangled in their net and they can drag us down into the depths, there is a saying of be careful what you wish for.
