trust is just a word
thrown about all nonchalent
its an intimidation
like god or love or fear
how should any of these words be taken
if they are in fact just words
should they mean anything to someone
everything to no one
nothing to every one
something to anyone
who decides what is important for the world
who makes up the rules
how does anyone have the proof
to stand up and be 100% positive
of anything they say
who says you need someone to trust
who says god actually exists
who says you need love to be happy
who says fear rules all?
some people go along life
trusting no one including themselves
they get along fine
some people go along life
knowing that god's just a scare tactic to keep people in line
they can still sleep at night
some people go along life
enjoying every moment they breathe, whether they have a significant other or not
and they're still as happy as the next person
some people go along life
living with no fear and they take every chance defy it
and they still live to see the next day
who's to say one way is the right way
what if your way doesnt comply with mine
am i wrong
are you wrong
are we both wrong
who decides who's wrong?
who decides which is worse
curropt government or a crime of intense passion
who's to decide that judge is a better person than the men he tries
who's to decide that god leads our lives
who's to decide we were born with a destiny
who's to decide how i am going to live my life?
i am.
i will live up to my own standards whether they sit well with you or not
i will believe what i want, in who i want, and how i want
no strings attached
i will not shove my beliefs or ideas
down anyones throats
i will offer up an opinion
and kindly and openly accept anything thrown my way
acceptance is "whats right"
but who's decision is that?
tolerance will equal peace
someone out there will disagree
who would be right
who would be wrong
who decides who's best fit to answer my questions
who decides whether their answer is right
who decides is that person's decision is right
who decides anything?
an endless bought of questions
seemingly unanswerable

who's to say they may not be answered?
