I miss her flutters
Trying to fit her body into something that would please
The timidly sure placement of her feet
As if she were to fly
I miss gliding
The steady rhythm of her hooves
3.2.1...and launching
The perfect suspension
of a cartwheel midpoint
Zero gravity
With the safety of Infinite trust
and landing as a feather, floats down
I miss the racing
Trying to out pace our hearts' beat
Legs reaching for more
Fighting as an eagles wings, to go higher
The dreamy momentum
of hovering
& touching
The ground a vague reality
Author notes
i miss my horse.

This is amazing....what happened to your horse (if you don't mind my asking)? I know I would cry if something ever happened to one of my horses.
