Lovers,
sweat glistened,
read from your book of poems.
Her eyes closed
envisioning colours
as your voice teased.
His voice caught,
choked by emotion,
at the sight of your beauty.
Aroused again,
we read on.
Please tell me what you think

Oh. This is another cool little poem that I've found in the featured tonight.
It is short but I think that it has a lot of impact. What really made it for me was the lines about reading on. That really struck me as interesting. I thought you did a good job of expressing yourself here.

A wonderful page from the book of sensuality. Love is a topic that is written and read about in volumes. You have made me give a hefty sigh with these words.
There was a poet that I called a friend (and still do) who moved from Cleveland to Oakland, California. His words made women swoon. He is one of the greatest "Love" poets I know. This poem reminds me of Robert Woods. ~SIGH
Great work dear friend.
How is the family? How old is that beautiful daughter now? I know she is (to quote a cliche) "the apple of your eye".
Much Love Always ♥

Thanks for your wonderful comment. Although I have not read Robert I take the compliment to heart.
Miranda is an amazing 5 year old.
