A subtle dance, a chance, a stare
I wicked glance, enhanced, a glare
Roaming over blood red tiles
Wishing through heart-felt denials
Trying to tame the beast of burden
Waiting for the world to stop turning
Wanting for her sweet embrace,
Wishing for a simple taste
Of blood-red lips, under star stained skies
Blood-red denial, in darkened eyes.
Love everlasting? A blood-red glare
Bloo-red eyes, a vampire's stare
A shiver rocks the body so
Wishing you would let me go
Wondering why I'm still here
Laughing as a scream, we hear
Blood-red steps at your side
Blood-red Romance, our demise.
