Looking for acceptance in all the wrong places
searching for me in so many faces.
Yet all the while whispers echoed from my soul
to search deep within myself and life would be whole.
My path finally ending where I knew I belonged
from then on I knew that I couldn't go wrong.
Under God's gentle hands is my path sure and true
to make sense of my life through His eyes I now view.
With peace in my heart and Him by my side
I continue my journey and no longer hide.
