Far distant skies above this African land
The call of distant thunder abounds
As black clouds gather beneath this argent sun
What is the distance inbetween
The beginning and the end
Let our hearts rejoice beneath these African skies
As we plot our course throughout the storm
Let our souls sing out for this vast open land
Walking proud through this tempest dream
This journey of life is where we all began
In this cradle of mankind's first shaky steps
Let us all gather and raise our eyes to the sky
In this African place that we call home
Don't let dark skies fall on you
Or this black earthern ground hide
Your face from the warmth of the sun
Let yourself be a part of this wheel
That circles eternally through time
Let the storms pass us by as we gather the sun
Letting the warmth of it's smile fill us up
The rains have cleansed this path we walk
Now forever is in this deep African land...
