In A World

In a world that often speaks of
Endless possibilities
I seek only to accomplish
Things that truly need to be

For when to overburdened
By daily stress, with which we’re rife
We sometimes are overloaded
By the trials in our life

Yet with each new days arrival
Comes a moment of respite
For the colors paint the world
With a beauty that enlights

A contest entry

That's beautiful. Wish I were awake for that event more often. But there is always the day's departure to watch for.

    Good luck in the contest.

I think this my friend is one of my favorites!! Maybe I've said that before but oh well...you have so many I love!

    "I seek only to accomplish
Things that truly need to be"

    "We sometimes are overloaded
By the trials in our life"

I see this all the time!! People who work so much they don't have time for their families...whats the point in that? My sister and her husband work so much to get their girls all the material things they want but they don't give them the most important thing..."their time" atleast I think its the most important.

Loved the message I got from this lovely poem!
    good luck in the contest

Yes! We need to not overburden ourselves... such wisdom in this! Take only what we need and be satisfied with that!

There is indeed beauty there if you look...

    Gorgeous write!
