I want to go to Calgonian land;
hang my hat up and do a little dance.
Escape from everything and myself too.
This is the tip of the things I want to do.
I want in at the land of Calgon.
Take me away far from my present home.
Luxuriate me in the wrap of soft smiles.
Gentle caresses cascading for miles and miles.
The butlers and maidens; gentile
the cooks and caterers should be fly.
I want to see through the roof; all sky.
And laugh at the past; hahaha, as it runs by.
Is the commercial true? take me.
I will go quite willingly, lustily too.
Fraught with hassles up the gazoo/beyond.
Into Calgon's fantasy island I will grow fond.
Wrap me in mystery's grand take.
I need release for goodness sake, now.
The movies have release dates; why not I?
Release me into the shadows of deluxes' eye.
Cater to all my whims/desires, aye.
Let me wear nothing as a delicious prop.
Let the music be just perfectly non-stop.
Take me all the way from here to mountain top.

The title fooled me I was expecting an alliteration.
"Luxurate" great word... I even like the sound of it.
I've enjoyed those Calgon moments. The moment where you draw a nice hot bath; light a few candles; put on some soft music and carry yourself off to a land free from the childs scream or a husband who can't seem to find the remote that is right beside him.
I can totally relate to this write... without a problem. Nice job... Thanks for carrying me back with your words.

a good piece of poetry, i think of that old series fantasy island here, they still show it at odd times on the tv with other old shows
