Farewell until We ressurect again

Mortal wound from galactic spear
adorns Earth’s breast plate.
From his mighty heart
scarlet life scorches with passion
horizons encrusted with gold and jade
as his body trembles in warrior’s wrath.

Soundless siren emerges from within depths,
fragile, melancholic, heart drowned in pressure.
She embraces her god in frigid love
from behind tremoring barriers,
molten by intensity of his spirit,
smiting existence in destructive protection.

Both lovers part, essence brought on tar and granite.
Her tears pearly nymphs, winding nest of serpents
with snaking foamy hairs, covering lusting lips,
his blood erupting novas of fiery bravado,
raw male power bursting, wanting to overcome
limits of matter, achieve passion with salamander tongues

Both forces meet in titanic clash of anguished touches,
he dissolves in her arms, body given freely,
pain and scorn soothed in sapphire womb,
she roars, siren cutting through her vocal cords,
fragile shape of liquid ice, torn and forgotten

One cry,
          One sigh,
                    One good bye

United they rise,
                  Forged into ether

Sweet!!! Well deserving of the spotlight and the gold. Cacading images, language that sings abstract, melancholy, and so full of longing. A perfect coupling of metaphor and imaginative impression. My simple mind can't come up with words complimentary enough for this!
  • LOVED the imagery... it completely took me in. I really liked the 3rd and 4th stanzas; those really got me the most. I don't know what else to say... I'm speechless now.

Oh, yeah.. you really earned that gold trophy!

This write encompasses an intensity that I can
only hope my writing will someday...to someone.
Fire and Water become Male and Female as they are
in magic. A visual bonding forged upon this page
that ignites and engulfs all at the same time.
I don't know what to say...
that our friendship could birth this from your
    muse gives me so much more than just a gift of words;
it gives me purpose while filling me with lucid joy.
My appreciation can't be expressed well enough...
but I will leave the words thank-you and trust you
to see all the feeling behind them. Blue
