I sit in the corner,
carv his name into the pages of my notebook,
Think about his eyes,
dream how it would be to be with him,
All this from,
AFAR!
Your eyes they draw me in,
As i stand behind the cover of my locker,
You wear the jacket,
The letters of jock printed huge.
I notice all this,
From AFAR
I sit alone,
Eating lunch,
When the face i love,
is across from me.
My heart flutter,
My knees shake,
I know if i were to stand,
They would go weak.
All the excitement,
My face goes wet,
Tears are falling,
You reach out your gentle hands,
They disappear,
We talk,
Well more like you talk,
My lips can't move,
to nervous.
You say prom?
My mind goes mad.
My mouth says YES.
The night ends our lips touch.
My dreams come true,
May dream man from
AFAR,
No longer dreaming from,
AFAR,
Hes mine.
