This is MY home,
Can't you see?
I can't move out,
This is where I want to be.
In this lounge room,
Is where I witnessed my baby girls first steps.
Out in the backyard,
I raised a lot of pets.
My hubby and I,
We married in the beautiful front yard.
If you were to take it away from me,
I'd be terribly scarred.
See, my daughter is grown,
My hubby is no longer here.
This is the only place,
To them I feel near.
Please choose another house,
Even if you must take out a bigger loan.
Because I need this house,
It is truly my home.

Thanks for taking the time to enter our contest

I am not so sure the 'tugging at heart strings' would work too well though...I am more at the devious stage now having had 8 lookers in past 7 months.
Perhaps IF hubby was a dearly departed I could say I do not wish to be separated from his spirit who visits every other night...wondering the rooms to make sure I am okay
Best of luck come judging time
