An entire city made of apple.
A place where faith is not found in a chapel,
but wherever the green is most ample.
Where youth is kept eternal in a golden capsule.
The women gossip and the men drink,
as the snake slides and slinks.
Whispering ever so softly as he winks,
holding at bay the evil thoughts we think.
The drugs helps you to forget that you're hollow.
'Cause in the garden we know no tomorrow.
We spend our time getting stoned on sorrow.
Evil is an idea that's never hard to swallow.
Time ticks until the flame.
Good is an idea considered insane.
Where men kill one another for a chance at fame,
and where peace will only be known when the end comes again.
Here what you want is all that matters.
Dreams are handled by being instantly shattered.
A garden of evil full of Mad-Hatters
and their profit themed chatter.
In America itself, who would've thought?
The land where everything is somebody's fault.
You may find me irrational, but I'm distraught,
At the sight of my country as it allows itself to be bought.
Author notes
Because of the Salem-like ways some people take talking negatively against the government let me clarify that this poem is not meant to be anti-American. It's anti-anyone/anything that doesn't care about peace or the Constitution...like a certain president that will remain nameless

Okay, I think I might just love this poem. You do fantastic with the rhyme scheme, and I love the imagery you use to get your point across. You went an entirely different direction than I thought you would by the end of the poem, and I love it.
