Actress's Guise

CHRISTIAN:

"Thou freckled features on thy face so inspire
that my quest for thou audience shalnt ever expire.
May fame bare the name of thine greatest creator.
for her blessing that no man hath ever to mate her."

"With angelic purity thou lacketh repentance
thou only sin ever was in keeping thy distance.
Thoust would do well if thou taketh this hand
as my wonderful bride whilst thou wear this band?"

SARAH:

"My shy little soul whilst thou glance in my mirror
I pray that my image be instantly clearer.
I shalnt give respect to thou silly request
to leave and forget me whilst suit thee the best".

"For I am an actress of dynamic dimensions
on stage and in life I bear secret intentions.
My guise is to give want of someone's devotion
but if thou look closely thou shalnt see emotion."

........
So from apples to clothes to lies in thy prose
thy woman's cold heart whilst ever be froze.
For a study in patience and stave of relations
will surely reveal her true aspirations.

It reminds me a little bit of Option 1 and I do thank you for entering my contest.

I like the mock heroic tone of it.

Beautifully written to this prompt and a sheer pleasure to read. No matter how hard I try, I simply cannot write to this level, but oh I can still dream of it. = and here I am honored to read it.

Well done poet. A pleasure to read and enjoy. Best of luck in the judging. ~Pamela
