Dark shadows on the moon
Portent of things to come
Never did believe in superstition,
But I think I'm learning some.
Watched the mirror shattering
In my favorite looking glass,
Bad omen for the future,
Or echoes from my past?
Never put much faith in
Black cats that crossed my path,
'Til you said you didn't love me
And you wouldn't take it back.
Now, I think I see that circle
That's warning of a storm,
With no place to run from it,
No one to keep me warm.
Dark shadows on the moon,
Portent of things to come.
Never did believe in superstition
But I think I'm learning some.
Author notes
Option #4 Something creepy lurking in the dark
Just thinking of superstitions and thought this might fit.
