The Master walked to a secluded place
To pray, and praise and find some answers
He reached a stone and sunk down onto His knees
and cried out - “Where are You, Father?
I can’t do this alone - why do You ask it of Me?
I need Your strength; I need Your guiding hand
I need to know and understand.
Without Your blessing Lord, I am nothing
I am stressing, tell me something,
Lord where are You? Show Me what to do.
Yes, I trust You Father, God of heaven and earth
I accept, the load is heavy, hope I’m ready
And I won’t stop to rest – I’ll follow You
Until the end
And We are One – once again.”
(Gesthemane)
Author notes
I tried to imagine the pathos and passion as God and His Son, Jesus experienced the first ripping and tearing of the bond between them as Jesus was about to give His life for us.
