There's Static in the Air (Future Electricity) [27/30]

The electricity of human interaction
Hovers patiently over the world.
Awaiting its chance to crackle
In the hearts of us humans.
The brisk air pops with eager
Anticipation of what is to come.
Sounds from afar soar closer
Awakening the excitement in the night's air,
The patience gone, oh so eager.
What is to come is more exciting
Than what has occured.
The stale past lacks the anxious
Carbonated mystery that the future contains.
The Unknown bubbles over the plastic-coated time
Until all mystery is gone and the air is once again
Filled with crisp impatience.
Silence is drowned out by the future and
The past replaced with the spices from afar
Giving flavor to the blandness that is today.
The adamant choices that once were yours
Can ne'er be changed, like an incoming storm.
Rather than tremble in fear at
The recollection of the effects that a storm may have,
Think wisely enough to bring an umbrella so as to be prepared
For the incoming danger.
Look ahead to the future, filled with static and surprise,
And leave the past to be a thought in your mind.
What is done has been done and always will be,
So reside in the static air of electricity.

Author notes

I did the option of "there's static in the air" as well as talking about the future.

Title: [5/5] In this case, it related perfectly to the write.
Concept: [5/5] I'm in love with the concept; logic put into creativity.
Uniqueness: [4/5] I've seen this topic before, but not very often.
Interest: [4/5] With my lack of ability to focus, I sometimes looked away and lost track, but I still wanted to read it, nonetheless.
Grammar: [5/5] I didn't notice anything misspelled and you used the words correctly.
Venting: [4/5] It seemed that you didn't want to have an input of your feelings towards this subject, but in this write, it really wasn't necessary.

    Total: [27/30]

Amazing write, I really loved it.
    Good luck in the contest!
