dwells in deep
thickening waters
as it fills my insides
with concrete
and stones
My head swirls
with flocks of birds
migrating in circles
as I try
to drown out
the screaming silence
Author notes
Ok, a little idea of whats going on..."The Clean Room" is actually what we call the IV room. At work I mix intravenous admixtures for patients and nurses. Lately I have been stuck inside the IV room (aka the Clean Room) for months, practically by myself. and everyone knows, at work, what happens when you are stuck in there day in and day out. Your mind starts stirring and you almost go completely CRAZY. and i am starting to feel it now. so had to write about it.

Amazing!
I had no idea that what you've just described, was happening in hospitals... it's strange... and it's a shame that you cannot listen to music or take a walk down to the staff cafeteria for a quick get-away or a break from the depressing reality of your awful job. Geeze... Well anyway, it's a great write, with good flow. Thank you for sharing your world with all of us, and all the best to you!!!
Take care, Cyn

Wonderful write..
I adore the imagery of this even if your alone in a room ...
I would rather think of it as a blessing....in silence your thoughts are all of your own , they come much more freely ...smiles
Over all a fantastic write.
Many blessings to you in your little room...
