Musings

See the road of white linen?
It is made of fine threads
crossing to another paradise,

now walk along a dream
where orchards hold your breath
just long enough to sigh,

then wear the blush of dawn
upon your demeanor,
and know you are alive!

I want to be in this picture!
I like the white linen road through paradise, a dream with orchards to bring out your sighs and pinch your cheeks with color.

Aaah yes, Nicky.. I see this road - we must only open our eyes and see and smell the lush orchards of life. Wonderful take on the contest prompt... so many ways to go with this poem.

Beautifully paved with the softness of your words.

    Thank you for the entry.
