To my reflective demons
A letter of goodbye
From my shaking limbs
Fragile bones and failing immune systems.
My weakened will can take no more of your
Harsh critisizm and lies. I will not hold
Your glassy hands anymore and let you guide me
To deaths door. Your ugliness will no longer
Be mine to bear. I am beautiful.

Your tongue no longer silences my voice.

    Makes my tummy hurt.

    What power resides in this short poem. The pain reverberates all the way thru & actually caused a little teary moment.
