Boomerangs

Missing image

Her chameleon tongue

licks social labyrinth's lives,

changing her words color

to dress each heart

with fabrication's weave.

Praising in public,

privately assassinating with verbal knife

those never present,

presumed defamation's dagger

would leave wounds

without knowing origin.

Panicking

when learning

last gossip attack

was confessed to Amazon

she ridiculed.

Waiting as consequence's boomerang

brings angry pounding

on her door.
