In Closure (or enclosure)
The walls closed
fleshy membranes of protection
leaving me safe, warm, always
so much that...
I danced
reveled in my new found shelter
snuggled gently on the surface
rolled against the walls
even, kissed the floor...
you-
laughing...
opened your hand
in a telling gesture of "go free"
(if it is my will)
I smiled up at you
grasped two of your fingers
and gently
pulled the circle of your hand about me
I was home, safe at last
here in the palm of your heart
