I don't paint my nails black
I don't wear all black clothes
I'm NOT considered goth
But I have a secret no one knows
Although I dress in color
And I seem so full of life
I'm hindered by my suffering
And my solution is a knife
I use my knife to paint a picture
Deep into my skin
My emotions are revealed,
by bleeding out the pain with in
Day by day and cut by cut
I continue to paint my pain
The pain of my life engraved
Into my skin as scar stains
So although I may seem happy
I actually feel low
I hide under fake impressions
And I feel like an effing emo

eh.... I think this may have been somewhat TOO emo for me. I just wasn't feelin it. (sorry!)... I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just telling the truth. This seemed really cliche to me. You may want to try using a metaphor or more descriptive language. Thank you for entering my contest.
