Your lips were often my delight,
Your hair the silk upon my skin.
But darling, no. No, not tonight.
I have no craving for the sin!
Your hands have been a pleasure - yes!
Your chest such warmth upon my breast
But darling, darling, I confess!
By doing this I'll pass the test...
I loved you more than words can tell,
So much it turned me to a wraith
Delighting in the path to Hell.
Now I must leave you for my faith...

Interesting...
Not at all what I expected for the contest, but it's got something all it's own...I think the pronouns are a bit confusing and unexplained remain so, especially where the title is concerned. I'll have to think on this one...

I thought it fit the "You can write on your own path as you try to walk in Jesus' footsteps." option. Thanks. It was intentionally vague.
