Stranded on a deserted island
Looked over by the sea
Wet like the deep waves
Thoughts of you and me
Tossing and turning in the sand
That gently warms my skin
The caress of your sweet soothing touch
Slowly reels me in
As we lay in the cooling wind
That surely gives us air
Our thoughts soar through the clouds above
As our bodies touch…… bare
Slowly I’m nourished and fulfilled inside
With your soul, is all I need
We pause as a small tide comes in
It passes and we proceed.
And surely as the sea calms down
My body does as such
As everything seems to stand still
Suddenly, I erupt to your touch
And like the sun the next morning
It looks over the blue sea smiling
And I’m reminded that I’m here with you
Stranded on this deserted island…….

Excellent
Great take on this prompt. A little long for the 10 lines more or less rule but I like it. Best of luck in this contest
