Lies

So today I realized something.

It wasn't the first time I've actually realized this,
But it is the first time I've had the decency
To think about it.

Since the beginning it was nothing but a sham
I guess you could call it a bluff.


        I can't take it anymore
i'm not so sure how i took it
like a three-year old boy and his toy car

him being the boy
me being the car simultaniously hitting the wall and the pavement
his hand grasping tightly against my small, insufficient body
having complete control
and me taking it.


despite all the mud ive crossed and all the tires that have fallen off through his trecherous, neglectful hands
i always manage...not to get lost
Or stolen

Now, after all the defiance
And lies that ive consistantly forgiven
all the deceivance ive turned the other shoulder to
and everything ive heard
that i didnt want to believe so didnt
I see it.

its right there lying before my eyes for all to see
and all have been introduced to it but me

there is my path lying directly ahead
my escape route

and now im driving away
