Come forth...

Largest Database of Images For Comments And Profiles at FreeCommentTags.com

Awaiting.....

why... I ask of you,

do you keep us waiting,

tormented and confused.

I see you clearly tasting,

hunger's thirsting void.

Yet, you refuse to enter,

decision's double doors.

Do you fear to seek,

the unleashing.

Vulnerable feather dreams,

of flaming hopefulness.

A delightful muse,

demands attention too.

Clawing and digging,

exposing and releasing.

Fantasy's illusion,

in candlelight's confession.

Reveals the bold feminine woman,

buried deep inside you're yearnings.

We are your innervoice,

awaiting,

the dreams you shy to view.

Come forth,

burst through these doors,

feast upon the view!

Author notes

Contest prompt: Looking for inspiration to remove writers
block.

Dear poetess: you have many adventures still to write,
your youth and imagination are deep and dark, now let's
see what is on the other side? If you are not afraid
to peek and come inside...feast upon the view...that
eagerly awaits...stalking you.

Even the boldest of warriors, pauses to breathe,
and you are a bold fearless poetic warrior!

The last stanza was just superb. It shows how a shy person has to overcome things to live, I hope i'm interpreting this correctly. Just fantastic.

There is war going on here. The way the words are used, such as clawing, digging, exposing and releasing, the bold feminine buried deep inside your yearnings, yet who refuses to enter decisions double doors. subtle rhyme improves the over all play of the poem. Very good piece.

Beautifully spoken! Women have so many layers that they hide! Thats what makes them so interesting! I love the way you say to set yourself free. Open yourself to the world and the possibilities are limitless. Such a thought provoking and wonderful poem!
