For every moment that enters within,
Plants a seed sprouting flowers to infinity;
Treasures beyond time’s ravenous hands.
Pet galloping towards you completely giddy,
Baby’s happy gurgles while hiccupping sudden burps,
Child’s teary eyed smile when you kiss them better,
Your lover’s glint as you share a tender moment.
Those split seconds create moments of eternity;
You will never forget the gurgle, gallop, smile or glint;
Eternity is created when the light shines through,
And can only be truly perceived by the soul.
Hot tears will stream down your face,
An eloquent tongue grasping for words,
As inside you soar, lifting you out of the grey,
And eyes that sparkle from the flight.
Countless moments have come and gone,
And not a single one of those moments
Ever asked you if you were worthy,
They just came to you, dream drops from heaven.
Every moment in the finite has a start and an end,
Truly live in the moment, savor and cherish,
And perceive them from the Inner,
For eternal and timeless those moments will be.
How lucky you are to catch the heavenly drops,
And be blessed with moments of eternity;
And how easily you can be a god,
A creator of infinity.

dear ace,
thank you so much for your selfless poetic offering ...
indeed, I can feel the grace and solace dwelling in your words, and in the space between them ... when we are sinking too deep into the swamp of despair, we need words like these to pull us out again ...
those are such words ...
needless to say, that from a poetic point of view your verse is masterful ...
looking forward to include it in my little collection for henri ...

This is absolutely stunning. I kind of feel bad as it's another time where you helped me with a poem of mine and all I can do is tell you how much I liked it, but I hope that suffices. I just the the sentiment, and the individual lines which paint the picture so clearly. God Bless.

This made me smile, but not from cute or sweet. I smiled at the imagery in the second stanza, which is probably my favorite. I did love the end, but my favorite lines would be
"And not a single one of those moments
Ever asked you if you were worthy, "
That rang very true with me. :]
Great write, full of thoughtful honesty.
Thanks so much for entering my contest. :] -

Wow Brimming with Fact!
First impression = Impressive and full of the truth.
Fantastic flow and presentation, deep emotive poem brimming with graphically projected descriptives, and well chosen at that. Love factual tones and message, and a joy to read as well as totally captivating throughout the reading.
Well done on this it is lovely and Good Luck in all of your competitions too hope you continue to win medals and trophies you clearly desserve with fine artistic poetic mastery like this, you are incredibly talented and deep thinking. Bravo, Love it!

I take away from this that we should be thankful for all those little moments that create our memories and be thankful that we had those times. I don't know if that is what you were trying to portray or not but thank you for entering my contest. Great write

Hello Sensualbutterfly.
Thank you for reading and commenting on this piece. In the end people obviously take what they want from it, however your interpretation is one of the things I was hoping to convey through this, but there is more. Most people come and go in our lives, very few are ever present, that is part of life. Also to truly live in the moment for we do take so much for granted as it is happening, not realising how blessed we are. There are many other extrapolations as well.
My regards.
