Through paths of sadness and darkness she feels alone and contempted
In hands of a master of puppets she feels controlled
She seeks for light but this runs away from her
Cry? She cannot, for her life is cold and as she cries her tears freeze
They turn into ice and hurt her when they fall
Her world is a staff with no musical notes
A black and white world, empty
Locked in a frozen cave she entertains herself observing the things that a magic mirror reveals to her
Always in silence
Always defensive
Many times she is satisfied with watching the world go by without risking in getting more involved
Of all the images that are presented to her, the one that leads her towards more envy is the image of the couples that take advantage of the night to have an encounter in the woods
She feels lonely most of the time
It hurts to feel, and it can burn so much that she fears she might melt
Author notes
I wrote this poem when I was in the 6th Grade inspired by a poem read by Ginger in the animation on Nicklodeon that was also called Ginger. The poem she wrote was for her Dad and it was called "Stranger"
Yes it may sound immature... or childish, but hey I was in the 6th grade.

Wow - I'm impressed you wrote this in 6th grade!! I never wrote that young (except assignments!), so I think this is really good! I like the depth you have in this - especially amazing to me because of your age then!
best wishes
