I feel America's horror-
The varied pains I feel...
Those of mothers weeping for
Their dying sons and daughters...
The witnesses looking onward
As the two planes hit-
Their minds unbelieving
Their eyes wide open
And their hearts breaking...
The husbands falling to their knees
As the towers fall
Unaware of the extent of
What is yet to come...
The wives crying out for their husbands
Searching through the faces of survivors
Arising from the crumbling hell...
The rescuers' determined faces
As they fullfill their duties
Knowing that Death has arrived.
The United States of America weeping
Then joining together
'Cause we will kick ass
And no one will destroy us.
SO MANY PEOPLE WERE AFFECTED BY THE TERRORIST ATTACKS OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2001. SOME LIVED, SOME DIED, AND SOME DID BOTH. SOME WERE NEVER FOUND. THERE MAY NEVER BE PEACE FOR ANYONE, BUT HOPEFULLY WE CAN BEGIN TO DO SOMETHING THAT MOST BELIEVE TO BE IMPOSSIBLE:
FORGIVE.

I love the way you expressed the pain of 9-11. I lost a loved one on 9-11 and the pain was horrible.
