Not a sound have I heard
Of your voice upon my ear.
Eye to eye, no contact
Yet such feelings of closeness
Though far apart we may be.
You have touched me deeply.
More than I ever
thought you could.
For your gentle words caress
the recesses in my heart
Touching where no one sees.
In what way can I thank you?
For what you've given so freely.
Your honesty and trust
Sharing life's ordeals.
It's something
I'll always treasure
Your gift to me, from you.

And what about my panties you still have in your pocket?
You DO still have them don't you? I don't give the pretty lacey red ones up for just anybody ya know?
This is sweet Rob and I truly and totally understand what you are saying here. I too have been touched, blessed and felt warmed over again and again by many of the contacts I have made here and some days, this is a better place to be than surrounded by actual body counts, ya know what I mean? I enjoyed this piece. Best wishes to you in all of your endeavors and thank you for sharing. Keep that pen handy and ever ready for use dear poet. Good luck in the contest!
