Run faster and faster, loving the pain
For my legs and stomach are aching again
I'm angry for this, pumped to burn
Every little molecule which I have earned
My hamstrings in sync, my arms by my side
Let only the breeze be my guide
Energy pushes me and leads me on
Yet I fall to the ground, the motivation has gone.

Short, but simple and strong. That's talent!
From your poem, I can see myself running along some random beach, but my legs are tired and horribly aching, but yet you welcome the pain. I like how your poem can evoke a specific picture and emotion; that's what I'm looking for
Thanks for entering!

That ending is beautiful, how long have you been writing for? you have such a unique talent. I always try to fit more into less and you are the perfect example for it. your pieces have so much emotion in them. excellent work honey

This is a little too short for my liking,
but still a great poem nonetheless
