Searching for the secrets
That sit softly at your side
Burried beneath the pain
In the last place left to hide
Begging to be relinquished
From the sins of flesh and pride
Walk the world a thousand times
Searching for what's inside
And every evil individual
You let see into your soul
Is seeking to steal your sanity
And the little left control
Ripping from within you
And leaving left a hole
Slipping silently off to stars
Relishing what they stole
But back inside
Your blackened thoughts
Let them leave
With what they've caught
Let them have their fun
It matters not
For soon you'll receive
Just what you've sought
Now close those eyes
And dream your dreams
All is exactly as it seems
Who am I to disagree?
Sweet dreams are made of these

Great work! You ACTUALLY impressed me!Your rhyme was right on and I like how the last two lines are in the song. You word choice was great as well! Thank you for entering my contest!
