As strange as it seems,
from groutitous dreams,
came the answer to my questions,
wrapped in bright blue seams,
with a hat on backwards,
and tear in my eye,
he just let the world know,
with a simple little cry.
Miracles still happen,
despite this crazy screaming world,
with the pain and the sorrow,
there's always something worth living for.
no one can believe it,
when life turns upside down,
but in the end you'll always know,
the happiness it spreads around.
I could smile forever,
and ever and ever,

Never thought a child,
with blazing blue eyes,
could pierce my soul with a wink,
and whimpered little cry.
He is so brand new,
in an aging vortex,
but I think he will pull through,
he's got me to hold on to.

He's the destiny of sunshine,
the smile of the night,
the whimpsical disparity,
of the sacred twilight,
the angel's singing slowly,

the miracle of life,

and the sinner's relinquence of it all,
of it all.

Author notes
this is a song i wrote about my nephew when he was first born. He came into this world Wednesday, May 21,2008 and he's been trucking through it almost a week now. he's adorable and i love him to death.
